Well, maybe not quite “fraud”….

Oh ye gods, I’m gonna have to wear the blame for this one.

Martin was certainly within his rights to request the removal of his pictures from audio2u.com.

However, I should have done a little more investigation (you’d think I’d learn, wouldn’t ya?) before I accused a listener of trying to pass those pictures off as his own.

It turns out that that listener had e-mailed Shelton asking if we could cover panning as a topic “like in the attached photos” which he had pulled from Martin’s site. Information on just where the photos had come from was not provided, and I jumped to the conclusion that the photos were being passed off as his own.

So, my apologies… again.

I’m just going to go and crawl up under a rock now…

Can you make some room under that rock for me Bruce!?
Having subscribed to your Podcast yesterday, I listened to episode 81 this morning, and realized what you confirmed above. Had the listener accredited the shots to me in their email, all I needed was the link changing on your page as well to make this obvious. (Not trying to wriggle out of this, but I did ask if this was the case in my original post, as I hadn’t listened to the audio.)
If you want to add the photos back to avoid confusing your listeners any more, as long as the caption makes it obvious they’re mine, sent by Tzee Yoong, I’m not only fine with it, I’d be happy for the free publicity! 😀
Anyway, had I also listened, before requesting them to be removed, it all could have been avoided, so shufty over a little Bruce.
