Shutters Inc – episode 103

This week, a listener reminded us of some of the great resources available at DIYphotography, which we’ve mentioned before (but which deserves another mention!).
A couple of listener e-mails from Carlos Rivera, who was keen to hear Shelton’s approach to wedding photography.
Good news Carlos!
This week sees the beginning of what will be a series of podcasts devoted to planning the shooting of a wedding.
Shelton mentions a few Aussie wedding photographers:
At least one of them, you should already be familiar with…
Shelton Muller
Jerry Ghionis
Yervant Zanzanian
Markus Bell
Martin Shembray
and although Shelton didn’t mention him, I’ll add my “cousin-in-law” (is that the correct designation for someone who marries your cousin?), Jurgen Lunnsmann
Plus you can check out the Australian Institute of Professional Photography website.

I have been a professional audio engineer since the mid 80's and am happy to do for free in my spare time what I get paid to do during the week. I created Shutters Inc in May 2005, and it is today (as best as I can tell) THE longest-running photography podcast in the world.

Hello Bruce. I am listening right now to this episode. Thanks for talking about the TalkShoe idea. I don’t remember if I mentioned in my email that those broadcasts can be recorded and you can add them to your feed. I know other podcasters that do this as well. One of them actually does the show on TalkShoe, records it locally and it comes out on the same feed as his weekly show that is not on TalkShoe. I know the time zones are a problem but at least you could accomodate those local to you.

Anyway, thank you so much for doing a great podcast.
