Shutters Inc – episode 233

This week, Bruce is having bandwidth issues (due to a certain son’s Xbox addiction),
the ‘Thirty seconds to infinity’ facebook page is getting more likes than the Shutters Inc facebook page (we need to correct THAT!),
the wedding driver who wouldn’t drive,
Nikon and Canon are rethinking the mirrorless market,
the Canon Powershot N, with a dedicated facebook button, but only available direct from Canon USA,
Sony’s soon-to-be-released QX100, a lens-and-sensor-in-one for attaching to a smartphone (and it seems that the manual for it has now leaked as well),
Also, it appears that Sony is exploring the rotating-sensor idea we discussed last week,
I received another hdr tip from Adam Davidson, although Glynn was not impressed by it,
Adam also alerted us to the LED light cube which looks VERY interesting,
David Duchemin is giving away free copies of his e-book, “Ten” (subtitled “Ten Ways To Improve Your Craft. None of Them Involves Buying Gear.”) Grab it while you can!
Samsung slightly red-faced after giving the winning prize in their photo comp to a stolen image,
and the less-than-stellar first pics of Prince George.

Bruce Williams

I have been a professional audio engineer since the mid 80's and am happy to do for free in my spare time what I get paid to do during the week. I created Shutters Inc in May 2005, and it is today (as best as I can tell) THE longest-running photography podcast in the world.
