Shutters Inc – episode 259

This week, Bruce has found high ISO video samples from Sony’s forthcoming a7s,
Dave Clark alerted me (but not Glynn!) to this site with some interesting and quirky photographic trivia,
Google obtains patents for contact lens-based camera,
trashing the dress in a responsible manner,
Bruce liked these macro insect photos,
Glynn has some new workshop ideas,
why you should check your batteries before you leave home,
a new prototype battery will charge your phone in 30 seconds,
Scott Kelby gets emotional about teaching (jump to around the 10 minute mark if you don’t want the whole thing),
and why professional photographers CAN NOT work for free (yeah, I know… preaching to the choir).

I have been a professional audio engineer since the mid 80's and am happy to do for free in my spare time what I get paid to do during the week. I created Shutters Inc in May 2005, and it is today (as best as I can tell) THE longest-running photography podcast in the world.
