Shutters Inc – episode 263

This week, we catch up with Glynn after his U.S. trip and hear all about the Big Photo Show,
conducting live tutorials with the help of the CamRanger (for wireless tethering),
the D-Day vets portfolio that he and David Oakley are currently working on (you can see some of the images on Glynn’s personal Facebook timeline),
I mention Photography Hot Spots, a website which allows photographers to share great shoot locations,
Adam Davidson alerted me to this portfolio of men’s sheds,
a couple of weeks ago, Leo Laporte (on his podcast, Triangulation), interviewed photographer Rick Smolan,
Luxi is back with Luxi-for-all, a clip-on incident light meter for smart phones,
you can learn photography from a first-person-shooter game,
there’s this hilarious craigslist ad for a Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 lens,
Carl Hemmings advised us of ShortcutMapper (which reminded me of Editor’s Keys),
and Rebecca Dunstall brought this amazing portfolio of underwater modelling to our attention,
Glynn lso mentioned Dinkum Systems, who have some really neat little accessories for your photography,
Nik Software’s new Analog Efex Pro 2,
and this collection of images from 1964, the year he was born.

I have been a professional audio engineer since the mid 80's and am happy to do for free in my spare time what I get paid to do during the week. I created Shutters Inc in May 2005, and it is today (as best as I can tell) THE longest-running photography podcast in the world.
