Shutters Inc – episode 318

This week, speculation that Nikon may have bought Samsung’s IP? (also sent in by Adam)
Carl pointed us toward another music doco; this one titled “You See Me Laughin“.
Adam told us about how some parents are naming their babies after Instagram filters.
Also, some new hope for finding and shooting the perfect sunset and/or sunrise,
and the demise of the Holga.
Glynn told us about this Steve McCurry video about the Omo Valley in Ethiopia,
and after a tough week personally, he was inspired to revisit, and remind us of, Days with my Father.
Annie takes the 2016 Pirelli calendar in a new direction.
There’s the Lu mu light meter.
And apparently, people named Glynn are idiots… says the guy who would know. 🙂
There’s the story of the lazy Australian wedding photographer being pursued by the Bridal Justice Bus,
the Sunset Quality Predictor,
Von Wong’s unique storm-chasing-with-a-model portraits,
and the DXO one gets a firmware upgrade.

I have been a professional audio engineer since the mid 80's and am happy to do for free in my spare time what I get paid to do during the week. I created Shutters Inc in May 2005, and it is today (as best as I can tell) THE longest-running photography podcast in the world.
