Episode 381 – Ebay Freaky Friday

This week, it’s Ebay Freaky Friday!
Digital photography magazine, f11 has gone on hiatus,
and 25 things Lightroom can do.

Rob Coates wrote to share the link to this portfolio of veteran servicemen portraits, and wondered if Glynn’s images were amongst them (they aren’t).

Steve Peters saw this video on Tamron’s Facebook page, which may or may not include one Glyn Lavendar.

Adam sent us a heap of stories, including this portfolio of 24 Times long exposure photography resulted in something magical,
Amazon is refunding Lee solar eclipse filter buyers,
and refunding purchases of fake solar eclipse glasses,
a forgotten solution to the problems of zoom lenses,
this man repairs the cameras and lenses that no one else can,
This famous pepper photo by Edward Weston was a 4hr+ exposure at f/240,
the L&P liquidation sale is underway. Hit up this link for details of what’s available,
and B&H photo to pay $3.22 million to settle discrimination case.

And Glynn felt this blog post promised way more than it delivered (you could almost say it had less content than it had gravity!).

I have been a professional audio engineer since the mid 80's and am happy to do for free in my spare time what I get paid to do during the week. I created Shutters Inc in May 2005, and it is today (as best as I can tell) THE longest-running photography podcast in the world.

Look at the rings on the plug, make sure that they have the same number of rings. You might have an adapter for stereo audio and not the audio and mic that the phone is setup for. I had a similar issue when trying to run my turntable into my laptop

    Thanks Adam.
You DO know that I’m a 30 year veteran of the pro audio industry, right?
Trust me, I know the difference between stereo/mono and balanced/unbalanced connections! 🙂
