Episode 410 – Secret Squirrel is out of the bag

This week, Glynn talks about his Secret Squirrel project some more.
He was asked (a few months ago now) to launch the new Tamron 17-35 f2.8-4 zoom lens. This involved shooting all of the images which will be used to promote the lens worldwide! No pressure!
The lens has now been launched, and Glynn wrote a blog post about his expeirence with it, plus he put some of his images on Flickr, and in to a short promo video.
Also, dpreview has an introductory article on the lens.

David Marland sent us this story about a salt-paper exhibition in London. It runs until early September 2018.

Carl Hemmings sent us a link to a video from Scott Kelby about processing HDR images out of Lightroom vs doing the same from Photoshop.

most important featuresAnd Glynn found this chart on what were considered the “most important features” that users want on mirrorless cameras.

I have been a professional audio engineer since the mid 80's and am happy to do for free in my spare time what I get paid to do during the week. I created Shutters Inc in May 2005, and it is today (as best as I can tell) THE longest-running photography podcast in the world.
