Episode 414 – Hi-res Glynn

This week, we’ve moved from Skype to Source Connect for our long-distance podcasting exploits. Personally, I think it sounds HEAPS better. Love to hear YOUR thoughts.

Tammy and carThis week, I’ve been exploring the incredible power of Masks in darktable, which allow you to do luminosity-based selections, hue-based selections…. all sorts of fun stuff. I posted on my photography blog about how I was able to recolour the car in this image using a parametric mask that just targeted the hue of the paintwork.

I have been a professional audio engineer since the mid 80's and am happy to do for free in my spare time what I get paid to do during the week. I created Shutters Inc in May 2005, and it is today (as best as I can tell) THE longest-running photography podcast in the world.
