Episode 540 – Farewell to 2022

This week, we’re saying goodbye to 2022.

Glynn has been out with his 150-600 shooting the North Melbourne lads in training.

And I’m trying to organise a date to shoot some fine art nude stuff with Tammy (who I shot with in the vineyards of the Hunter Valley a couple of years ago).

Paul sent us some stories, including the one about the photoshopped snow leopards. As I’m writing these show notes, it appears that this story keeps getting worse, according to this link from Philip Johnson.

But on the other side of that coin, we have this guy, who openly admits to achieving his images through lots of post-production.

Glynn found the story of the drug smugglers who were brought undone by a snapshot of their dog!

After we finished recording, Paul sent through another couple of e-mails which I felt warranted a last-minute addition to the podcast. This 2022-in-review collection is certainly worth a look!

In Paul’s words, “This is Horrific, however needs to be remembered, and has to never happen again.”

And finally, 2500 naked people on Sydney’s Bondi Beach!

I have been a professional audio engineer since the mid 80's and am happy to do for free in my spare time what I get paid to do during the week. I created Shutters Inc in May 2005, and it is today (as best as I can tell) THE longest-running photography podcast in the world.
