Episode 412 – Glynn’s trippin’!

And no, we’re not just referring to the photo!
This week, Glynn regales us with stories of his family trip to Fiji.
The coral bleaching video is here.
He’s also pretty impressed with the Canon EOS-R (except for the APS-C default when you use non EOS-R lenses).

Tamron is about to drop (but not in the way Glynn drops…) their new 15-30 G2 lens.

The new Mavic 2 does some funky Hitchock-inspired pull-focus-type effects. See the sample video here.

Adam sent us a heap of stories, including this one about a girl who did a TFP shoot as a model, but didn’t read the fine print of the model release,
the guy who swapped the orientation of one element of a lens to create this unusual bokeh,
the world’s first programmable multi colour camera flash… the Chroma chrono,
and this one about changes to TSA laws regarding scanning of your camera gear at U.S. airports.

I have been a professional audio engineer since the mid 80's and am happy to do for free in my spare time what I get paid to do during the week. I created Shutters Inc in May 2005, and it is today (as best as I can tell) THE longest-running photography podcast in the world.
