Episode 516 – Hated the commute, think I’ll drive for a living

This week, Glynn is exploring the notion of shooting inclusivity and asking when is that simply exploitation? It was all inspired by this story.

The Potato photographer of the year awards have just been held, and as silly as it might sound, there is at least one compelling reason to encourage these kinds of awards! As usual, the true gold was in the comments.

Philip Johnson told us about the kid who got lucky, finding a Leica M2 in a thrift store for just $5!!

And Paul Sutton mentioned the fact that rocker Bryan Adams was chosen to shoot the Pirelli calendar for 2022.

I have been a professional audio engineer since the mid 80's and am happy to do for free in my spare time what I get paid to do during the week. I created Shutters Inc in May 2005, and it is today (as best as I can tell) THE longest-running photography podcast in the world.

Hey Fellas. Another episode and another lost 58:08 minutes of my life.

I found your discussion on war photographers interesting. Having escorted official war photographers overseas, they certainly have balls. I don’t think I could do what they do. The following link takes you to the AWM article about photographs and the modern experience of war. Worth a read: https://www.awm.gov.au/about/our-work/publications/contact

Anyway, keep up the good work and keep well and stay safe.
