Podcast going on hiatus

Hi all.

Glynn is under strict doctor’s orders to lay low for the time being, and as such, is not able to take part in the podcast.

As for me, I am not in the best headspace. It’s probably a combination of this 14 week (and counting) lockdown, the loss of my Nan and my dad within 3 months of each other, and my new work situation (which leaves me too exhausted and in too much physical pain). All of which is making me take a step back from my content creation activities for a while (my darktable videos are also going on hold for the time being).

Don’t worry, the podcast WILL return. But it might be a month or so.

I would like to remind everyone that your own state of being should supersede all other activities in your life. Don’t let work, or even your own high expectations of yourself, put you under more pressure than is healthy.

Know when to say no.

Stay well everyone, and we’ll fill your ears with more “crap crap giggle giggle” soon! 😃

Bruce Williams

I have been a professional audio engineer since the mid 80's and am happy to do for free in my spare time what I get paid to do during the week. I created Shutters Inc in May 2005, and it is today (as best as I can tell) THE longest-running photography podcast in the world.

I really should have trademarked the “crap crap giggle giggle” line when I first said it to you.

    Take it easy!

Hi Bruce and Glynn. Went looking for the podcast today. Sorry to read that both of you are not in the peak of health. Wishing you both the best. Take care and look after yourselves first.
