Episode 522 – Goodbye and good riddance to 2021

This week, we’re saying goodbye and good riddance to 2021 (well, Bruce is at least).

Bruce did a shoot at Kariong Brook Falls after a week of rain.

Paul advised us that the Hubble Telscope is back online,
Sharbat Gula (Steve McCurry’s Afghan Girl) has been granted asylum in Italy after the Taliban takeover in Afghanistan,
a 1957 Leica MP Camera sells for a staggering $1.34 Million at auction,
and the Bug Photographer of the Year under fire for drugging his subjects. Glynn is nonplussed over the outrage.

Philip Johnson told us about the story of a high-res colour camera shrunk down to the size of a grain of salt.

And whilst he didn’t get his new tv, Glynn has shouted himself an early Christmas present with an Eco Flow battery.

I have been a professional audio engineer since the mid 80's and am happy to do for free in my spare time what I get paid to do during the week. I created Shutters Inc in May 2005, and it is today (as best as I can tell) THE longest-running photography podcast in the world.
